Solid tempo anticipated with Masterly and Imarock God leading the way. COME ON EMMA (9) went around as a $1.35 favourite last star and went under in a photo finish, beaten 0.1L. Chris Parnham takes the ride now and the rise up to this trip may suit her better now. Looks like a filly on the rise and she can return to winning ways. MASTERLY (6) was too good last start when kicking away to score by 0.9L after sitting on the speed throughout. Suspect similar tactics will be adopted today with the aid of an inside draw. Up in weight but he'll prove tough to run down nonetheless. CABLE ROCK (5) was only 2.3L away first-up over 1200m at this track and went close second-up last campaign. The fresh effort laid a good foundation for him to build on and he'll be doing his best work late. SIR DUSKIN (1) is an improving gelding who was only 0.9L away after settling well back last start. Likely to get back again but should be storming home late. STARWALKER (4) resumes without a trial but he has plenty of upside. Can make an impression on resumption. SUGGESTED PLAY: Come On Emma can go one better.
