Cracking tempo with Chico Sonado and Aysgarth leading the way. ZLOTIES (9) tried hard first up at Sandown Lakeside behind the talented Pop Award, only beaten two lengths there. She's a lightly raced mare who will be better for that and looks perfectly placed rising slightly in trip. ROYAL INVADER (13) presents here third up having improved nicely last time out at Pakenham, giving a sight when beaten a neck. Looks a strong each-way hope. THAMES (12) started favourite first up at Pakenham over 1200m and wasn't beaten far. Fitter for that and she does have good ability. STORMFRONT (5) was okay fresh in a bunched finish and should get into a nice position from the draw here. Right in the mix. GROUNDRUSH (2) resumes and can figure. SUGGESTED PLAY: Zloties to win.
