A hot tempo is expected with plenty of speed engaged. LOUIS (8) is a seven-time winner who has been performing well, scoring by a neck last time out over 1200m at this track. Has a strong record at this journey and should go well again. WONDER LAND (6) is back after a break of three-and-a-half months. Looking to emulate his win at Funabashi to kick off the last campaign. Has a strong first-up record, scoring on two occasions from three runs. Rates highly and should take some beating. MISUZU GRAND O (7) resumes. Didn't make an impact at his only run last prep, finishing sixth over 2850m at Niigata. Has switched to the Terunobu Fujita yard over the break. Has to be respected. CHAMP TIGER (5) finished third last time over 1400m at this track when resuming from a spell, beaten 1.75 lengths. Will trim down second-up. Suitably placed so anticipating another forward showing.
