Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Pharoah Show. BAMBUN BOY (3) got back to his best last start when up to this course and distance, finishing 0.3L off the winner. It's been a while between drinks, but he rates highly on his latest effort and the form out of the last start has worked out well. Can get the job done this time. OPAL TANGO (10) comes through the same race as Bambun Boy where he was 4.8L off the winner. She was a winner here three starts ago as favourite and the inside draw may see her be a touch closer today. Better than she showed last start and can bounce back. ROCK DEE JAY (11) was only 0.5L off the winner last start at Belmont and is on the quick turnaround today. He was narrowly beaten at this track and trip three starts ago and the blinkers go back on today. Can go one better. SHAZAIR (9) was too good at Bunbury and the rise in trip doesn't appear an issue. Can play a major role. TOURETTO (1) rises to this trip for the first time and has claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bambun Boy is the one to beat.
