AIDEN (2) tried hard fresh up at Doomben a fortnight ago when finishing midfield and will relish stepping straight up to a middle distance. A wide draw will be a bonus by this time of the day, and he would not be a shock winner. DEVOCEAN (14) ran on late here 11 days ago and slides down in class this time. He should be conditioned enough to cope with a wet track, and another honest effort is likely. COUNTER (5) has needed all of her 3 starts back from a spell and will find this easier than his last start here just over 3 weeks ago.
