Expecting Charis Imon to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. LETTER FROM PARIS (9) went to the paddock after scoring at her last appearance four-and-a-half months ago over 1200m at Monbetsu. Lines up today for the first time for trainer Masakazu Kawashima. Should be hard to stop. CHARIS IMON (3) ran below expectations when fresh from a spell at this track over 1200m last time, finishing fifth and beaten one length after being in contention on the corner. Finds a nice race and can atone. RYUNO JACK (1) did a great job to score by half a length over this course and distance last start in a nice progression on the first-up run. Looks well placed so expect another big run. NOT IN THE EYE (5) resumes in a similar race to her only run last prep back on November 1 when eighth, beaten 5 lengths. Has a win and three minor placings from six starts at this track and distance. Deserves respect on best figures.
