Pace looks to be genuine with Fresco Vainqueur and Tsukaino Kizuna matching motors in advance of Sorena and Volcan Baru. FRESCO VAINQUEUR (8) is racing well. Scored at this track two back then finished second, beaten a neck, over 2200m at this track at the latest appearance four weeks ago. Tatsuya Yamaguchi who has scored on him four times retains the mount. Expecting a bold showing. GROOTSLANG (10) settled in a rearwards position and never came on when resuming last start, finishing 12th and beaten 7 lengths over 1900m at Chukyo Dirt. Won't find this as tough so he can find the winners' list. TSUKAINO KIZUNA (1) gave away a start then stormed home to win over 1400m at Urawa last time out. Expected to be there at the business end. SORENA (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1600m at this track, beaten 2.25 lengths into sixth. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
