Genuine tempo from Highland Rahy leading Viva Graciousness. VIVA GRACIOUSNESS (1) lost no admirers last start when up in grade, beaten just 1.8L over this course and distance after a narrow miss here two back. That form has worked out and he draws a much better gate this time. Should sit just off the speed and can land the knockout blow. AMAZING AWARD (8) won well two back before a solid effort up in distance most recently. He's been back to the trials since and comes here off a 35-day break. Back to this trip looks to suit and he's sure to be there at the pointy end. THE AZURE (4) is better than he showed last start when beaten 2.5L over this course and distance as the race favourite. He was just too far back there, but he should be better suited from a softer barrier this time. Can bounce back in a big way. CONFRINGO (11) won narrowly in easier company last start, but drops 7kg for the rise in grade. Ticks a few boxes and is sure to go close again.
