Solid tempo likely from Smart Alive and February Sky. SMILE CLARK (2) returns after a spell of six months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1400m at this track. Should be hard to stop. FEBRUARY SKY (7) broke her maiden three starts back and has not been far away since, most recently when beaten 2.5 lengths into second over 800m at Himeji. Winning rider Osamu Shimohara sticks. Bold showing expected. SNARK DURIAN (1) is close to breaking through, last start finishing just a neck away in second over 1500m at Himeji after being prominent from the outset. Drawn for a nice run just off the speed. Well placed this line-up and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. RIKO GLOCK (5) ran below expectations last time at Himeji, finishing 11th. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including two wins. Deserves another chance.
