Coastal Groove to take up the running with Corvette Pride and Cup Of Ambition close at hand. DE LOUVIERE (3) was unlucky fresh up and then set the record straight with a nose win as favourite at Gosford last time out. He cops a wide gate and will probably settle back. He is still on the up with his fitness and will relish the extra furlong, so stick with him. COASTAL GROOVE (2) will be dropping down from provincial level racing and won't have any fitness queries after 4 runs back from a spell. A wet track would be in his favour, and a top 3 finish is on the cards with conditions to suit. BELLASCENT (5) did not get much of a run at them here 8 days ago and will be hoping for some better luck here after drawing the pole position. She benefits from a 1.5kg claim and has sound each-way claims. HIDEYO (11) has each-way claims in an even field. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bellascent each way.
