Strong pace from Bucks Fizz, Voracious and Shapin Power, with Bias and Rose Of Shiraz on their heels.
VORACIOUS (8) led all the way and gave nothing else a chance when resuming over 1300m at Toowoomba last start. Tackling a deeper field this time but strips fitter, gets a bit of weight relief, and draws perfectly so there is plenty to like. WINSOME STAR (11) raced on the speed but was just fair through the line over the mile at Doomben last time out. Has been in the money at all three runs over this distance so he can bounce back, particularly back in midweek company. CARTWHEELS (9) returned from a three-month spell with a barnstorming win over 1200m at the Sunshine Coast recently. Has won two from three when second-up so expect her to hold that good form. BANDASHA (1) has been racing well for a while without winning. Yet to miss the frame in three tries over this track and trip so must be respected. BUCKS FIZZ (12) disappointed at Ipswich last start but is better than that. SUGGESTED PLAY: Voracious on top in a competitive race.
