Just a moderate tempo given the absence of pacy gallopers. GIZA (2) was a tidy Maiden winner at the Sapphire Coast but has been plain her two since on the Canberra synthetic is stronger class. Peaks now and draws for a soft run. The local will be hard to roll back on the turf. GRAVY TRAIN MAGPIE (9) switched to the in-form Pepper yard and looked a run short on the synthetic first-up. Has a handy 2kg claim and she will be sharper today. DON'T THINKABOUTIT (7) has been around the mark on the synthetic both starts this prep and has more to offer on the turf. Has the rail and Bensley is a positive jockey engagement. CRAZY ATOM (1) resumes and gets in well with the 2kg claim. Will appreciate further but this isn't strong and consider. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Giza.
