Solid tempo with Maple Kenji, Meisho Tulaca and Kikuno Ardent going hard, closely attended by Blessing Isle. MAPLE KENJI (7) resumed over 1400m at Himeji last time out and showed good speed to lead throughout, scoring by 1.5 lengths. Is a winner at this circuit. Should run well. KIKUNO ARDENT (6) has been in the money at his last couple of runs, the latest when second over 1400m at Himeji. Sound record at this distance with four wins and eight minor placings from 17 runs and is expected to feature. BLESSING ISLE (1) finished fifth two runs back at Himeji then improved last time out to score by a neck as public elect after being prominent at the turn over 1400m at Himeji. Must raise the bar but this looks well within his grasp. RAFT (4) turned things around last start and got the job done by 1.75 lengths over 1400m at Himeji. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake.
