Gigi Fille has enough early speed to find the lead at a decent clip. BORS (2) was well in the market when resuming from a spell at a recent Wandoan picnic meeting but did not have the best of runs with a 4kg apprentice in the saddle. He is backing up relatively quickly over a more suitable trip of a mile and has senior hoop Adam Sewell in the irons this time. Follow your money. Can win. NATIVE BEE (7) is a durable veteran who is still very competitive. He is rock-hard fit for this and will see out a mile better than most here. Each way all day. FREE STATE (1) has yet to his his straps in 3 starts for his new trainer Bevan Johnson but did have a genuine excuse last time out at Charleville when slipping at the start. He has the pole position again and is worth another chance in this even contest. TRICKY BEANS (4) is resuming from a spell for local trainer Ray Williams. He might need the run, but with the aid of a 3kg claim, he can't be totally ruled out of a top 3 finish. NEW LEVEL (3) needed his first start from the Glenda Bell stable. Each way value.
