Wataru Hirose who has scored on him two times retains the mount. Well placed and should be in the finish. AZU GREATER (6) comes here off a break of 12 weeks. Scored over 1400m at this track to launch the last campaign. Boasts a fine first-up record of three wins from four starts. Looks a winning chance. DAISHIN ARES (4) finished 11th over 1230m at this track at his most recent appearance on December 31. Worth plenty of thought. ROUGE VELVET (3) ran below expectations last time at Himeji over 1500m, finishing fourth and beaten 4 lengths. Should park just off the speed. Must be respected.
