Not much early pressure but Stars Week, Candelaria and Steel Will can take up forward spots. STEEL WILL (1) is in winning form after scoring as favourite last time out by 2 lengths over 1500m at this track. Has three wins here. The rise in trip doesn't look an issue and he can go on with it. CANDELARIA (7) was leading on the turn and fought on to finish second over 1800m at this track at his latest appearance. Fitter and expected to go well. NAMURA MICHEAL (8) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 0.9 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1500m at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Going up a level this time but he is good enough to play a major role. STARS WEEK (2) comes here off a break of 12 weeks. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 2200m at Niigata. Sure to make his presence felt.
