Strong tempo with Saint Ex, Moueix and Rinzo Channel leading the way. MOUEIX (6) finished 0.8 lengths from the winner in second last start over 1800m at this track. Has a terrific record here with six wins and two placings from eight starts. Bold showing expected. BEYOND THE FATHER (7) last appeared six-and-a-half weeks ago over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt when he finished 11th. This is his first run for the Terunobu Fujita stable. In the mix despite the unknowns. SAINT EX (3) finished third last start over 1800m at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is right in contention. FAUVISME (9) last appeared when successful by a nose over 1400m at Sonoda 11 weeks ago, the only time he went to the races last prep. Should be poised just off the lead. Not to be discounted.
