Good early pressure anticipated with a large representation of unraced runners.
MAKING NEWS (10) led but found a couple better in the run home on debut last start over this distance at Doomben. Finds a far easier maiden this time and will prove tough to catch. READY FOR ZION (11) met with no support in a $125k debut recently over 1110m at Doomben and was never a threat. Won't find this anywhere near as tough so from gate one she can improve sharply. First starter BLINDING SPEED (6) bolted in at Beaudesert in a 900m trial on 17 February. Better Than Ready filly who looks pretty smart. I'M A CONDYGIRL (9) showed pace but weakened behind the talented Sunrays over 1110m at Doomben on debut. Can do a lot better. CYBER CITY (13) appreciated the step up to 1200m last time and is capable of a top four finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Making News looks the goods.
