Expecting Novalargo to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint course. GEEGEEHAILSTORM (8) has been narrowly beaten here and at Hobart at her last two starts and they stack right up. Hasn't won for over a year, but she's going better now and finds easier with the leading hoop sticking aboard. Draws low and will get every chance to break back. NOVALARGO (2) is coming along nicely this prep. Improved sharply second-up to score in a CL1 over 1200m at this track and is sure to have taken improvement. Lightly raced and is capable of taking the next step. SEVILLANA (1) resumed here over 1100m in tougher grade and was only beaten 1L. She had switched from a Victorian stable and brought a 58 win from Ararat over a mile. Has a handy 2kg claim and the extra metres suit. Has placed 2/3 second-up and has the ability to feature. WEDNESDAY'S BOSS (10) peaks and has the blinkers on again. Got closer last time in the Geegeehailstorm race and is in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Having something on Geegeehailstorm.
