Plenty of pace with Snappy Pierro and Hot Chips leading from Brutalina. HERE THE CROWD (6) narrowly on top. The fresh run at Pakenham was good, then sent out at $2.50 last time at Caulfield Heath when battling on fairly in a dash home. She can improve going to 1300m here and can atone. TRIAL BY PRESS (1) has been good in two runs back, finishing third in both. She comes through a stronger race over 1400m and will take holding out here. HOT CHIPS (4) has been below her best at her past couple but is better than that and she maps well here over her perfect trip, having won 3/5 over 1300m. BRUTALINA (5) was behind Here The Crowd at Sandown Hillside last time but is going okay and can figure. THUNDER HAWK (7) has found one better in her past couple and should be thereabouts again.
