They are sure to run this along with Celtic Tycoon and Wanganella taking it up from a few of the debutants. CELTIC TYCOON (4) stuck on bravely when finishing fifth on debut here just over 2 weeks ago. He has some breeding to live up to, and will naturally improve from that effort. Hard to beat this time. THE MAILMAN (7) fought on gamely for sixth at Te Aroha a month ago, and he should have no fitness concerns with 4 runs back from a spell under his belt. He is poised to put his best hoof forward in this. SAATCHI (12) ended up getting too far back here last start, and failed to run on as expected. Her fourth, before that, is the guide to use, so stick with her. WANGANELLA (11) has been heading the right way with her form, and despite copping a wide gate, she is capable of figuring in the top 3 again. CIVIL WAR (5) will make his debut from a wide gate and won his latest trials quite comfortably. With any luck early on, he can make an immediate impact. Check the market. WHY DADDY (1) is a consistent gelding knocking on the door for his first win. Each-way claims in this field. SUGGESTED PLAY: The Mailman each-way.
