Expecting Curren Alcantara to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. KITASAN DOSHIN (1) returns from a layoff of six months. Scored over 1600m at this track to launch the last campaign. Has ability and should be right in the finish. SILBERN (3) turned in a nice effort last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just a nose from the winner in second over 2200m at this track after being in the firing line on the corner. Tackling a more suitable race so he is a major player. RUDEMENT (8) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 1600m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. NATIONAL MALL (9) showed early speed from an outside draw when resuming last start and raced on the pace before boxing on well to finish third, beaten 2.5 lengths, over 2200m at this track. This is a nice race and can find winning form.
