Although coming from wide gates Show Your Ace and Zambrosia have enough early speed to cross and lead. ZAMBROSIA (12) stepped out to a mile for the first time and ran her best race yet when running on quickly to finish third, and just over a length from the winner. She cops a tougher draw this time, but has the scope to have the last say in a field like this. LOFTY MANUEL (10) dropped back to a mile and caught the eye with a big late finish for sixth here just over a fortnight ago. She gets a big swing in her draw this time and can figure in the top 3. REZINATE (6) needed her debut run at Tauranga, and then improved second up at Te Aroha a month ago over 1400m. The extra furlong is the key for him, and he is well worth each-way consideration. SHOW YOUR ACE (1) has improved this year since joining the Fahy stable, and his last 3 starts have been full of merit. He drops 3kg thanks to a claim, and his first win is not far away. Include in all top 4 combos. FLORENZA (9) only peaked on her run late when fresh up here just over 2 weeks ago. She cops a wide gate, but should not be risked. SUGGESTED PLAY: Lofty Manuel each-way.
