Cutie Romera should spear straight to the front of the small field. ACKERMAN (2) has returned in good shape this preparation. Opened with a second at this track two starts back then landed the prize by a neck last time out over 1200m at this track. Masashige Honda scored on him last time and retains the mount. Stepping up a level this time but on current form he is one of the chief contenders. CUTIE ROMERA (3) showed good pace over 800m at Urawa last time and dug deep to score by a head. Facing a tougher assignment but she is up to the task. CRI D'AME (6) returned from a spell a week-and-a-half ago when he was beaten 7 lengths into ninth over 900m at Kawasaki. Has a fair record when second up, including two top-three finishes. Fitter so expect a better run this time. NIGHT OF BUND (4) finished ninth over 1200m at this track at his most recent appearance on November 29 2024. Has recorded two wins when first up from a break. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
