Expecting Zousouth to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint course. CONFLICT (2) resumes here after filling minor placings at his only three runs in the debut prep and there has been a lot to like about the way he's jumped out ahead of the return. Was beaten by Playful As, who is a rival here, at the latest but Conflict looked to have a lot more up his sleeve that day. ZOUSOUTH (10) disappointed last start at Werribee, when beaten over 4 lengths, but was very good when second the start prior and, importantly, has the ability to make use of the gun draw. Respecting all of the first starters. SINGAPORE SPLASH (8) wasn't knocked around at his first jumpout this time in but dominated on-speed at the most recent and can make an early impression here. PLAYFUL AS (13) has the gate to ensure he'll be prominent early, which has him in contention. SUN DEVIL (9) is in good hands and has been given three jumpouts this time in so he won't be wanting for fitness. SUGGESTED PLAY: Conflict to win.
