Solid tempo with several going forward headed by She Suits Herself. SHE SUITS HERSELF (13) tried her heart out when finishing second by a nose at Hawera 2 weeks ago as a short-priced favourite. She has been showing promise as a stayer and gets another good chance to crack her maiden status in this. ASAL (3) raced too keenly during the running here last time out, and stuck on bravely for fourth. He should be spot on for this, and is good enough to take this out. SALTBURN (5) battled on strongly when finishing fourth over a mile at New Plymouth 6 days ago, and he is fit enough to cope with the quick backup. The extra 500m is no trouble, and he is a solid each-way chance. PAPPARAZZI (8) fought on gamely to finish fifth here just over 2 weeks ago in a similar field to this. He was beaten by a nose fresh up at Tauranga before that, and his first win is not far away. SUGGESTED PLAY: Asal will be hard to beat, and is an each-way must.
