Don't Tell Sheriff and Lonely One to take up the running at a strong tempo. WHITSON (12) was only beaten a whisker last start and had he won that he wouldn't even be eligible for this race, which looks no tougher. Was narrowly beaten two starts earlier as well and, significantly, draws the pole here so gets the chance to possie up a little closer. MR CHARISMATIC (4) should be at peak fitness after three runs back, the latest coming in a $50k BM64, so this is a notable class drop. CAVILL TYCOON (1) is out of maiden grade now but we'll get a form reference earlier in the day with the horse he beat last time, Fox Man, engaged in one of the earlier races. DON'T TELL SHERIFF (2) generally takes a run or two, but performed well in races stronger than this as recently as last campaign. SUGGESTED PLAY: Whitson each way.
