Solid tempo with Cracken Good Time going forward from the good draw. Doesn't appear to be the deepest maiden on paper and quite a few of these have had plenty of chances to win a race. MISS NARRANGA (9) is one of those and she's placed only once in her 22-start career. But her last few starts have been much better and if she can replicate her performance over 1600m two starts back, she can win this. She's drawn low and gets Rochelle Milnes. GEETEE FORTY (3) has placed in seven of his 19 starts. He was good at this track and distance last start and is sure to run well again. LOS ALAMOSS (8) is a newcomer to SA but has shown glimpses of talent interstate and can measure up here. Including ALWAYS BOLD (1) and FIERY MOON (7) in wider plays.
