Expecting Mercury Eight to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint course. IMMORTAL SHIELD (2) is mixing his form but his best is good enough to win this. He was only fair last week but his first-up run for the stable in a similar race at this track was very good. He gets 4kg off his back with the claim and he handles the conditions. He's hard to beat. ALL TOO MYSTI (5) drops in grade and looks very well placed here. A repeat of any of her recent performances will see her fighting out the finish here. WALLY WEST (4) is a source of frustration for punters given he always runs well but rarely wins. The day you leave him out is the day he gets it done. Don't forget about MERCURY EIGHT (3) or BALISTIQUE (9). SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Immortal Shield to win.
