Plenty of pace evident with Speedy Smartie and Dan Attack leading the way from My Intelligent and Ragnarr. RAGNARR (5) just missed over this track and trip 21 days ago when beaten in a photo finish as a $7 chance. He hasn't won for a long time, though he's been around the mark in recent efforts and this looks to shape favourably. Should get his chance to go one better. MY INTELLIGENT (2) disappointed here last start when three-wide throughout. He's had a quiet trial since then and importantly drops back into C5 today. The claim of the in-form Ellis Wong is a big tick and he's expected to be right in the finish. TRIUMPHANT WARRIOR (1) sat up on the speed and ended up 1L away at the finish. Purton remains in the saddle and he draws a better gate on this occasion. Wouldn't surprise to see him shed the maiden tag on this occasion. SPEEDY SMARTIE (11) was close here last start and has claims if he runs up to recent efforts.
