Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Halliwell. HALLIWELL (4) is on the quick back-up after another placing at Mt Gambier on Friday. She's fit and gets through soft/heavy going. She's going to win one of these and she won't get many better chances than this. From a good draw, she can race on the speed and be hard to beat. PERILOUS LASS (6) was good behind a smart one last start and is sure to have improvement second-up. She looks a threat, as does KISS AND KABOOM (5) who also comes out of the same maiden. There's been merit in both of her runs this campaign. ME NAME'S HARRY (2) needs to find a length or two but can run a place, while ZARUBINA (10) has trialed well enough to indicate she can improve this time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Halliwell to win.
