Good pace from Moola Man, Blazing Light and Corrupt and they'll have company. AFROPOLITAN (3) set the pace over 2000m last time and stayed on well to finish third. He has won once, finished second once and third once from five starts over this course and distance. He gets the services of the 4kg claiming apprentice Jacey Botes which will assist his cause. If not in need of the run, he may be hard to peg back. MOOLA MAN (4) was in need of his resuming run last start. He would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter. Gavin Lerena retains the ride which is encouraging. From his good draw of four, good improvement is expected. MY BOY LOLLIPOP (6) is better than his last start run over 2000m on this course would suggest. He won a good race over 1600m in his penultimate start at Scottsville. If putting his best foot forward, he should have a say in the outcome of this race. CORRUPT (5) looked in need of his first outing for Mike and Mathew de Kock. He would have come on from the outing and should show good improvement.
