STAR SHINE HANDICAP 1200m

Track: GOOD      

Same To You to go to the lead at a genuine tempo. FIND MY LOVE (1) went up to 1400m for the first time last start but may have been looking for the drop in grade. He does have some strong efforts in tougher grade at this track and trip and the booking of Bowman is a good push for his chances. Expecting him to turn his form around. WINNING MONEY (11) led them up first-up after a long break and just missed, being gunned down late to finish 0.5L off the winner. The form out of that race has been solid and he'd only trialled once leading in. Fitter now and maps to get every chance. MONARCH COUNTY (4) hasn't been far away in recent performances, though he's been getting a long way back. That may be a niggle with him again today from a tricky gate, though if there's a good tempo up front he's sure to be flying home late in the race. THUNDER PRINCE (2) has been close his past couple and now gets Purton in the saddle. Comes through the same race as Winning Money and has to be included.
