Expecting Amulet to take up the running with Miss Understood and Durrani close at hand. MISS UNDERSTOOD (1) went close to breaking through on a couple of occasions during her initial prep late last year, and resumes here with a recent trial win under her belt. Michael McNab keeps the faith, and so do we. AMULET (2) was sent for a spell after failing to run up to expectations as an odds-on favourite at Arawa Park last spring. She will be a lot stronger now and was third at a recent tune-up trial on this track. Hard to beat. ROCKING (10) was rather disappointing on debut at Pukekohe in March after showing promise at the trials. She resumes with the aid of a 4kg claim, and is worth each-way consideration from a good draw. A market watch is advised. PRIVATE TREATY (5) ran a couple of good races in her initial prep during the spring and looked in good condition when finishing fourth in a recent trial here. Each-way claims. FRENCHIE (9) is bred to handle heavy tracks and will benefit from a 3kg claim for her debut. Include in all combinations to be safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: Miss Understood will be ready to rumble fresh up.
