TAPUCHAN (9) showed early speed from an outside draw last time to lead throughout and score by 0.8 lengths over 1230m at Sonoda. Could take some stopping again. SMART SELAM (2) recorded a strong maiden win over 1400m at Sonoda last time, getting there by 5 lengths. Drawn well close to the inside and cannot be discounted. LION SELAS (7) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1230m at Sonoda. Strips fitter and can turn things around.
