Expecting a genuine tempo. NKWENKWEZI (5) set the pace over 1500m on this course last time and tried hard all the way to the line. She finished third in her only attempt over this course and distance. Calvin Habib retains the ride and she may be rewarded for consistency. PARABELLUM (2) stayed on well at the finish over 1450m on this course last time. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. If Philasande Mxoli is able to switch him off early, he should be fighting out the finish. GREENLIGHT RACER (1) has shown improvement in each of his outings to date. He was slowly into stride last time and stayed on well at the finish to run third. He will love the rise to 1600m and with luck from the widest draw, he should be involved in the finish. SERGEANT SOQRAT (7) showed good improvement when second over 1400m on the Standside course last time. He has scope and if confirming his recent improvement, he can place.
