HODGEPODGE (1) built on a nice third two starts back at Scottsville with a win as favourite over 2000m at this track six weeks ago, getting home by a neck. Must raise the bar but this looks well within her grasp. PLUM PUDDING (4) returns after a spell of four-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1800m at Durbanville. Should be hard to stop. SONATA SAMARITAN (5) finished one length away in fourth last time out over 1600m at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Has a high cruising speed. One of the main contenders. AMONG THE CLOUDS (2) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a sixth over 1600m at Durbanville. Can fill a top-three spot.
