He lands the pole position, and in this company with a 4kg claim, a form reversal is likely. On top. MAGICAL GEM (8) dropped down to bush grade at Pingrup 4 weeks ago and finished third in a 5-horse field. He also drops back to 1200m and has won twice over this trip. Stick with him. DIRTY CHAI (4) resumes from a spell for a new trainer and normally comes to hand quickly. She has a good record over the trip and can make her presence felt. ROCKSTAR STATUS (1) is having his first run this year and has won a couple of races fresh up in the past. He is also a 2-time winner over the trip and will be ready to rumble fresh up. Include in all multiples. JIVE KING (7) needs to improve but can do so with the aid of a 4kg claim in a modest lineup. Don't risk him. SUGGESTED PLAY: Devils I to win.
