A race that lacks early pressure on paper. RIGHT MAN (7) did a great job to score by a nose over today's course and distance when resuming from a break last start. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat again in this suitable race. CROWN RISING (1) ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 1400m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. STAR TIARA (3) finished out of the money two starts back then she was never in contention and was beaten 2.75 lengths when seventh over 1400m at this track three weeks ago. The engagement of Manato Hida is a positive move. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. PISTIS (2) has not won for a long while. Last raced on March 24 when beaten 8 lengths into sixth at Kasamatsu over 1400m. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
