Solid tempo with Onomatopoeia leading from Force Me and Epic Flash. WATERMELON (4) improved sharply back on the poly blitzing the 60 graders by 4.8L over 1900m. That was expected, and he can go right on with the job. KAREEM (2) has gone close here at his last two. Gives every indication that the step up in distance will suit. SMOKIN MATCH (7) brings a CL1 win from Toowoomba this distance range. Maps well, and the 3kg claim is handy. He should be right in it. FORCE ME (11) led and won on a heavy track at Kilcoy, and that stacks up. Has to replicate that on the poly surface but she gets in light. PRINCETON AWARD (6) missed a nose here over a bit longer in better grade, but the awkward barrier is against. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Watermelon.
