Genuine tempo with the speedy Rager leading the way. LYSANDER (2) won a similar race to this at Orange three runs back under 60kgs. Subsequently finished second at BM58 level at this track over 1650m before a forgivable failure in heavy going at the Sapphire Coast most recently. In the right race to return to winning form. BOUND TO FIRE (1) gets out to a more favourable journey after a couple of plain runs over 1200m to launch this campaign. Led all the way to win his maiden here at the end of last prep. Ready to improve. SPIELE (5) was beaten a long neck by Rager in a comparable race to this at the Sapphire Coast two back. Failed on a bog track over the mile last time but back under today's scenario she makes plenty of appeal. RAGER (7) won a BM50 at the Sapphire Coast two back over a similar trip. Leading contender with a repeat performance. NEVER LOSE FAITH (9) has been freshened up since a poor run in a BM58 here seven weeks ago. Veteran mare with a shocking strike rate but against this lot she holds value appeal. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Lysander.
