WHITSON (9) disappointed as favourite at Kilmore, but his Maiden win at Terang prior stacks right up. Draws better and is worth another chance. WRITTEN ROYALTY (7) missed a lip at Sale and has switched yards on a 7-day return. He's going well enough to feature. SNAPPY TYCOON (1) has been around the mark since the all-the-way win at Ararat.
