Pace looks strong with Nihonpiro Carat pushing forward from out wide along with Grande Sfida in closer. MIGHTY MIGHTY (11) ran on strongly only to just miss when first-up from a thirteen-month absence last start over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt. Will strip a lot fitter this time around. Placed to advantage so expect another forward showing. KALPA (2) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Chukyo Dirt, finishing fourth and only 1.5 lengths from the winner at the end of 1400m. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. A SHIN COXSWAIN (12) was well in commission when she resumed four weeks ago over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt and was only beaten 2 lengths into fifth after being in the firing line on the turn. Nicely placed to find winning form. GRANDE SFIDA (4) returned from a spell three weeks ago when he was prominent at the turn before being beaten 2.25 lengths into fifth over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
