Plenty of pace established by Shinto Shrine, King Of Numbers and Cerulean Dancer, with Stroke Of Mercy close at hand. GREAT NOTION (3) has good consistent form lines to her credit. She has won once and finished third once from as many starts over this course and distance. She drops back in class and with luck in the running may be the one to beat. PAUL REVERE (2) was doing his best work late in his last two starts, the latest of which was over this course and distance. He is back in Handicap Company and should be fighting out the finish. KING OF NUMBERS (4) stayed on well when second over this course and distance last time. He takes a slight drop in class and cannot be discounted. SHINTO SHRINE (1) resumes from a spell. Worth noting that he placed when returning from a spell last time in work over 1500m at Vaal. Has found the right race and is worth a second look.
