ROUGE MIRAGE (10) was in the firing line on the bend and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1700m at Kokura Dirt after missing the placings at the previous two appearances. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. THE HUNT (14) finished third as favourite last time out over 1700m at Kokura Dirt, making it two minor placings in succession. Has a tricky draw to overcome but he has solid claims. HANAUMA BEACH (4) resumes from a spell of 11 weeks and impressed at both runs in the maiden campaign, finishing off with a minor placing over 1700m at Kokura Dirt. Expect he has come on over the break. Right in this. PIRANHA KISS (7) has raced twice. Was 14th on debut then clocked-in 0.8 lengths from the winner in second last time out over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt. Should be thereabouts again.
