Speed Rich is likely to take charge and set a decent tempo. SPEED RICH (7) displayed plenty of early toe and went on to score by 0.8 lengths last time out over 2400m at this track. Taking on a better field but he is progressive and capable of running a bold race. SATONO SKY TURF (6) finds it hard to win with two victories from 32 starts. Did a good job last start to finish second over 2600m at this track, beaten one length. The engagement of Mirai Iwata is noteworthy. Facing a tougher assignment but he is sure to play a feature role. AMETHYST BLACK (2) saluted at the first run back from a spell last start over 2400m at Kyoto, scoring by 2.5 lengths. Has been given a let-up of seven weeks since that outing. Open to plenty of improvement and he looms as a significant threat. FORTUNE CODE (8) returned from a spell two weeks ago when she was beaten 4 lengths into fifth over 2000m at this track. Fitter so can feature in the finish.
