Strong pace with A Shin Policy, Forte Fiore and Salt Breeze pushing forward, closely attended by Sprinkle Salt and Cosmo Avanza. BARREL TURN (1) finds it hard to win with just one success from 10 starts. Did a good job last start to finish second over 1600m at Kyoto, beaten a neck. Going up a level this time but he is up to the challenge. SALT BREEZE (5) ran below expectations last time after being in the firing line on the corner at Tokyo, finishing sixth and beaten 5.5 lengths starting at $7.90. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. SPRINKLE SALT (15) returned from a spell four weeks ago when he was in contention on the corner before being beaten 4.5 lengths into fifth over 1600m at Chukyo. With added fitness he is capable of a big performance. FORTE FIORE (10) is back from a break of 11 weeks. Raced below par at his only appearance last prep when 12th over 1800m at Kokura. Should be prominent from the outset. In the mix.
