Regal Zeus and Aramco possess good early speed and will set a genuine tempo. SMOKIN' PRINCESS (10) won three straight before chiming in late to be beaten under a length in the Group 3 Matron Stakes over this distance at Flemington last start. Comes here off a five-week break but is a very good fresh performer. Great chance to improve on her five wins from eight runs at the mile. REGAL ZEUS (4) led all the way for a gutsy win over 1200m at Caulfield last time out. Won't mind this step up in trip and at the third run back from a spell is ready to peak. ARAMCO (15) showed he was ready to produce his best when a game third behind Enxuto over this distance at Flemington recently. Enjoys a soft run from gate three and with the limit weight is a live chance. ENXUTO (8) is bulldozing his way through the grades, cracking open company last time with a game performance over this distance at Flemington. Wide gate a worry but too honest to rule out. HOLYMANZ (2) returned in good style in Enxuto's race at headquarters a fortnight ago. Should give a great sight. SUGGESTED PLAY: Smokin' Princess each-way.
