MOLLOY CONTRACTING 1600m Track: HEAVY 8 Out 3m |

|
Looks a decent tempo with Powerofpersuasion, Flash Roca and Way Out West leading the charge. THE BOSS LADY (7) needed her fresh-up run at Wingatui, and then had an excuse from a wide draw at Riccarton last time out. She has the pole position this time and is peaking at the right time, so she goes on top for us, especially if the track is heavy. WAY OUT WEST (8) made it 2 wins from 3 starts this prep after relocating from the North Island late last year. She is up in class, but down 3kg in weight, so she should be hard to beat again. POWEROFPERSUASION (6) was a gutsy BM65 winner on the Riccarton poly track in her penultimate start, and then fourth as the favourite on the turf course there 12 days ago. She will continue to strengthen with more racing this year, and she is good enough to take this out. CANASTA (5) has been thereabouts since winning easily at Riccarton in March, and she is at her best when the tracks are heavy. Stick with her on an each-way basis. FLASH ROCA (1) is another very consistent mare who benefits from a 3kg claim with a drop in class from her last run. SUGGESTED PLAY: The Boss Lady can win this.
