Genuine pace with Sekitei Juo taking up the running ahead of Abelia Face and Monter Jewel. ODENTA (1) backs up seven days after racing on the speed and finishing third over 1400m at Urawa. Assisted by the rails draw and is capable of taking this out. MONTER JEWEL (3) displayed plenty of early toe over 900m at Kawasaki last time and went on to score by 2 lengths. Should settle handy in the run. Finds a tougher race but this looks well within her grasp. ABELIA FACE (5) has filled a minor placing at both runs this time in work and looks close to a maiden win, the latest effort a third over 1200m at this track. Must be respected. VIP RYAN (7) last appeared on April 29 when a good fourth over 1200m at Ohi, beaten 2 lengths, which was his only run of the campaign. Lining up today for the first time for trainer Noboru Tamai. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
